Homemade Skin Care Recipe: Gelatin for under eye dark circles and bags
|
submitted by Anonymous
Tip description / details: Gelatin for under eye circles (Secret Spa treatment!)
Ingredients: 1 tablespoon of boiling water; 1/4 teaspoon of gelatin
How to prepare: Boil the water and stir in the gelatin for 1 minute until disolved
How to use: Test the temperature of the water to make sure it is warm but not hot then apply with the fingertip directly to the under eye area. The mixture will feel like water initially but will tighten as it dries. Leave for 30 minutes then wash off with a face flannel. Use daily for a week and 2 or 3 times a week thereafter. The more often you do the treatment the more noticeable the results but you should see a definite improvement within a week.
Gelatin is very high in both Biotin and Vitamin K.
Results (observed by submitter): Much reduced swelling and the dark circles disappeared. It will give a soft matt bloom to the skin. I personally use this treatment all over my face and neck as a face mask to tighten and smooth any sagginess.
Costs involved: $1.29
