Homemade Skin Care Recipe: Getting rid of skin fungus
|
submitted by Lisa, Santa Fe
Tip description / details: I had a fungus of some sort on my right had for about 1-2 years. The symptoms were that in the winter, besides the usual dryness that my hands experience, my right hand would often crack and the lines in the palm of my hand were much darker and deeper than the lines in my left palm. I confirmed with a dermatologist that it was in fact a type of fungus. He said that it was treatable but would take a lot of persistence in applying an antifungal cream that he prescribed to me. I decided to wait on filling the prescription.
A few days later I was reading about Wild Mediteranian Oregano Oil and it's benefits. Much to my surprise it was listed as an anti fungal, anti viral, and anti bacterial. I decided to try it out, and broke open a capsule and applied it to my hand. In just one day I noticed a huge improvement. In about 1 week it was completely gone.
I don't recommend this for everyone, but I had a couple of stubborn pimples on my face and I went ahead and applied the oregano oil to my whole face. The next morning I notice a huge difference in my skin. The pimples were not completely gone but they were improved and my pores appeared to be smaller. You cannot use just any Oregano Oil it must be Wild Mediteranian Oregano Oil. And it will turn your skin green for a little while (about 1/2 hour to an hour) until your skin absorbs it. So I recommend that you apply it before you go to bed.
