Weight Loss Tip: Quit your soda habit

After many years of consuming a couple of sodas a day on a regular basis, I realized that this was a major source of calories (and not very productive ones at that) in my diet, and that I should stop drinking so much sugar. I switched to drinking coffee (strong with steamed milk, and no sugar) in the morning, and during the day, I make due with water or green tea. Making only this adjustment in my diet allowed me to shed 5 pounds without any effort. Another benefit to this is that by limiting your consumption of refined sugar, you will begin to lose your craving for it. This is why it is better to find some sort of non-sugar beverage to substitute rather than drinking artificially flavored drinks.
