Weight Loss Tip: Weight loss with Yoga

I have been about 15 to 20 pounds overweight on and off through my life. I have swam and run competitively but what I have found that has burned fat more than anything is Bikram Yoga. This is hot yoga where you sweat and hold poses for about a minute, but the results I and my fellow yogi's have experienced are notable. Going to a class is 1 1/2 hours, and I do this 3 times a week. My muscle tone has improved visibly and my endurance in hiking etc. has also been increased. The sweating releases toxins from our bodies, and you leave feeling increased energy. From my personal opinion, this is the BEST tip I could offer anyone, and because the results have been so measurable and noticeable with me, I will stick to this exercise for the rest of my life. Although I loved running, I couldn't say that about running. At first, trying this may seem awkward, but it is for beginners, and you won't hurt yourself if you take it slow. Just stick to it for 2 months....huge change will occur.

Results were weight loss, increased energy, increased flexibility, visible muscle toning, it increased my endurance in other sports like hiking.
